GP Gangsta × Rev Tumza × Zola, Soweto
Born and raised in Zola, Soweto — one of South Africa's most culturally vibrant townships. Kwaito artist, creative entrepreneur, and member of GP Gangsta. His music tells the stories the streets whispered.
GP Gangsta was born from the raw energy of Soweto's streets — the music, the movement, the culture that the world hasn't fully seen yet. Founded by Rev Tumza (Tumelo Mpanza), GP Gangsta is more than a clothing label.
It's a creative movement. A platform for township storytellers, youth entrepreneurs, and cultural artists who refuse to be invisible. Every stitch tells a story. Every print carries a message.
From kwaito to streetwear, from Zola to the global stage — GP Gangsta is the uniform of a generation that's taking its rightful place in the world.
Premium quality, township-inspired clothing that blends bold graphics with street-art aesthetics. Designed to be worn with pride.
The heartbeat of Soweto. Rev Tumza's kwaito tracks carry the stories of the street, the joy, the struggle, and the triumph.

Kwaito music, cultural conversations, and township storytelling — all in one place.
GP Gangsta is more than a streetwear brand. It's a declaration — that township culture deserves a global stage, that youth creativity deserves investment, and that Africa's stories deserve to be told.
Tumelo Mpanza — known on stage as Rev Tumza — was born and raised in Zola, one of Soweto's most vibrant and historically rich neighbourhoods. Growing up surrounded by music, hustle, and community, Tumelo found his voice through kwaito — the pulse of South African township life.
As a member of GP Gangsta, he channelled township experiences into music that resonates across generations. But music was only the beginning. Rev Tumza recognized that the culture he lived in was being undervalued, underrepresented, and undermonetized.
GP Gangsta was born from that realization — a brand that would finally give township creativity the premium platform it deserves.
GP Gangsta exists to empower African youth creators through fashion, music, and custom merchandise. We believe that creativity is a form of currency, and every young person deserves tools to express their identity and build their brand.
